The Survivor's Talking Points™ to Use with The Perpetrating Father

These Talking Points will give you a framework to build off of, for those of you that are required to directly communicate with The Perpetrating Father/Your Abuser.

This list includes over two dozen Talking Points. They will serve as a foundation to build upon as you are learning/relearning how to navigate communications with The Perpetrating Father.

My hope is that you will be able to condense your responses, and that you are more prepared to limit The Perpetrator's ability to draw you "into" conflict.

Through these Talking Points, may you be able to establish/maintain your Credibility, while appearing Consistent and Competent. If you are familiar with my work, I refer to this as The 3 C's.

When your Abuser communicates with you, you can issue responses that limit his ability to further assert himself over you. His objective is going to be to overpower you and to engage in lengthy dialogue with you. His objective is for you to look like you are his equal, so that you are met as someone who is engaging in conflict. That way, others are less inclined to identify him as an Abuser.

These Talking Points can assist you in limiting The Perpetrating Father’s ability to draw you into conflict, as he attempts to make you appear as his equal.

These Talking Points also allow you to “assert” yourself, while maintaining your professionalism. We highlight your ongoing efforts to prioritize your child/children, as The Perpetrating Father prioritizes engaging in conflict.

License for Use: Sharing, copying, reproducing, modifying, publishing, selling, or otherwise distributing the Talking Points, whether publicly or privately, is expressly prohibited. You may, however, copy or print instructional materials, information, and guides within the Talking Points for personal use, provided that all original formatting, copyright and trademark notices, and branding remains intact. Your limited license allows you to use the Talking Points and any associated materials for yourself only. If you have multiple team members who would need access to the Talking Points, you must purchase an additional License for each member of your team and ensure they are aware of these Terms of Purchase. You are permitted to modify, copy, edit, print, and otherwise adapt this product for use for yourself, as long as you agree to adhere to all state and federal laws and intellectual property terms contained in these Terms. You are not permitted to reproduce, give away, publish, sell, or distribute the Talking Points in any way, whether publicly or privately. You agree to modify the Talking Points only in a manner consistent with these Terms of Purchase.

Intellectual Property: Kaitlyn Jorgensen owns and retains all rights, titles, and interests in and to the Talking Points.  Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property ownership beyond the limited license described in the above section, and Kaitlyn Jorgensen reserves all rights not expressly granted to you. Permission to alter or modify the Talking Points in a way that is consistent with the Terms of Purchase does not grant you intellectual property ownership or the right to modify Talking Points beyond these conditions, and in no way expands the limited license provided upon purchase.

Consent to Use. By submitting reviews, images, comments, testimonials, or tags (“Submissions”) to Kaitlyn on any platform including, but not limited to social media and online reviews, you are by default granting Kaitlyn Jorgensen a commercial license and voluntarily releasing Kaitlyn to use your Submissions for any reasonable future business use. Kaitlyn Jorgensen will make every effort to maintain your anonymity.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kaitlyn Jorgensen and affiliated companies, their officers, directors and employees from any and all claims, demands and suits, expenses, costs, judgements, or other charges incurred by you as a result of your choice to participate in the Strategy Session(s) or use the digital materials, as outlined by this Agreement. You will not hold Kaitlyn Jorgensen responsible for any negligent actions or adverse results, whether known or unknown, you may incur or suffer as a result of the Strategy Session(s) or materials you receive pursuant to this Agreement. 

Non-compete Agreement

Upon purchase, for a period of 24 months after your purchase of any product or service from Kaitlyn Jorgensen, you understand and agree that, without the prior written consent of Kaitlyn Jorgensen, you may not provide any services, engage in any aspect of business, and/or represent yourself as a Family Court Strategist™, Proactive Protective Mom™ or in a way that would be considered “similar” in nature to Kaitlyn Jorgensen or her business offerings. This includes offering products that are seen as similar to the Talking Points and/or Strategy Session(s) you purchased from Kaitlyn Jorgensen.
